Woodforde’s has now been brewing beer for over 30 years. We are passionate about using only the very best ingredients in our beers: ancient water from beneath the brewery; Norfolk Barley; and a diverse array of whole hops that give our beers both flavour and aroma.
Our success has been built by a loyal team of people, a significant number of which have worked with us for over 25 years.
We try and produce innovative beers that showcase the exciting breadth of hops that are being grown around the world coupled with the best malting Barley in the world, grown locally. All our beers deliver a balanced flavour in order that one pint never seems quite enough.
We are lucky enough to have won numerous awards including two Champion Beers of Britain for Wherry and Nog and in 2012 we won the ‘Pride of Norfolk’ award at the Norfolk Food and Drink Awards for Food & Drink excellence.
We strive to combine good beer with great service and we hope that this combination will ensure a long-term future for our business.
Brewery Shop
The Woodforde’s Shop opened in 2007 and is packed full of Norfolk goodies including our full range of beers in bottle and most beers in beer boxes. We also now have a range of Seasonal Ales that can be bought in beer boxes and often in bottle too. We also stock cider and wine either made locally or sourced from a Norfolk farmer!
There is an ever-increasing range of branded clothing and merchandise, which make ideal gifts for the Woodforde’s enthusiast. There are books on beer and Norfolk Pubs and Breweries.
We enjoy being a part of Norfolk life and we stock a delicious range of Norfolk food produce. These are often local foods and chutneys enhanced with our beer but there are other products from people that we admire and who share our passion for great local ingredients.

Fur and Feather
The Fur & Feather is our impressive Brewery ‘Tap’ and is located adjacent to the brewery in converted former cottages. It is one of the few places that sell the complete range of Woodforde’s beers and is also well know for its delicious, hearty pub food. It has a beautiful garden and superb facilities for functions and business meetings.
Our loyal band of customers already know how good the food and drink is at The Fur and Feather Inn – it’s what keeps them coming back week after week. And don’t just take our word for it, we’re featured in The Good Pub Guide, CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide and nominated for local awards.
