Woodbastwick Forge
Traditional working forge nestled in the heart of Woodbastwick
Forge History
The forge building dates from c1650. Until recent times the main purpose was for shoeing horses and repair of farm equipment. More recently horses have been shod at their stables by mobile farriers.
The present business was started by Michael Harvey after extensive renovation to the building during 1992 and opened for business on 4 January 1993 (a snowy day).
