Rotac Farms
Rotac farm is predominately arable but is also home to the famous Woodbastwick herd of pedigree British White cattle. The farm is responsible for just over 1,000 ha (including grassland) and the estate has land in both the ELS and HLS schemes.
We are currently growing the following crops:
- Malting Winter Barley
- Malting Spring Barley
- Feed Winter Wheat
- Winter Oilseed Rape
- Sugar Beet
- Vining Peas
- Permanent pasture
We rent land out for the following crops:
- Potatoes
- Daffodil Bulbs
- Maize for the AD plants
Rotac farm has the ability to carry out some organised scheduled local contract work. Please contact us for more information.
We do carry out about 80 ha of contract combining and 200 ha of contract sugar beet drilling per year. The rest of the work we do is under existing contract farming agreements with Plumstead and Ranworth Farms.
